CYGE Group began operations in March, 2021.
Our first project was a pilot test case, and has gone well. In April, we launched My Chinese Home Kitchen.
Through this project we have proven that given the opportunity, and proper coaching and encouragement, a motivated person can overcome difficult circumstances, build real skills, and improve her life.
This whole enterprise began as a creative solution to assist Jing. She was unable to finish her high school education because she was orphaned as a teen. Jing’s dream is to become a chef.
We cannot legally donate money to a Chinese national like Jing because of Chinese laws. However, Jing and people like her do not want handouts. She yearns for the pride and confidence that come from true achievements.
By creating a business to build a blog, we have given Jing a real opportunity to earn a higher than average wage. She saved her money and is now enrolled in a premier culinary school. Working with CYGE Group, Jing has excelled at learning the following skills:
Using WordPress and WPML, to build a multilingual site. Project management, editorial calendars, content strategy, and modern digital publishing workflows. Engaging content that ranks for SEO.

Jing has learned to work remotely, in a collaborative fashion using real-time file-sharing and video conferencing. We use MS Office for collaborative authoring and review.

Working without direct supervision requires time management skills. Jing has found work-life balance through empowerment to manage her time, resulting in greater productivity and loyalty.

Fully equipped photo studios are expensive. Working with the tools available and skillful use of natural light, Jing creates stunning photos.
