About us.

Few words

We are two close friends, Chinese and American, who started a media company together.

We share many beliefs: the value of hard work; the value of education; making the most of the resources at hand; and that when provided with opportunity, raw talent can be refined and developed to its full potential. We both enjoy authentic cuisines, healthy homemade meals, and the social warmth and structure provided by sharing meals. We also both enjoy slapstick comedy, especially The Three Stooges and Mr. Bean.

We believe the world is made better when people care for and help one another.

about

Conscious capitalism

CYGE Group, LLC was founded to create opportunities for women disadvantaged by their circumstances. In China, young women and single mothers often struggle to live, working 12-hour days, 6 or 7 days per week, for subsistence wages. The COVID pandemic and other global factors have made their circumstances more difficult.
CYGE Group seeks to create hope.
We seek to provide opportunity to learn valuable skills while earning a living wage and achieving a healthy work-life balance. Presently we are privately funded, but our goal is to build a following for My Chinese Home Kitchen sufficient to provide enough revenue to make the project self-sustaining, and expand to include similar projects. All revenue earned by CYGE Group will be invested into salaries and increased opportunities for these women.
